Description
As a Senior Piping Material Engineer at Hanwha Ocean, you will play a crucial role in leading and controlling Piping material mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities. Your responsibilities will include developing corporate technical standards/procedures, conducting technical validation and quality assurance, analyzing to identify optimal solutions, and communicating these solutions through technical reports. You will also be required to attend project meetings, manage interfaces with relevant disciplines, and prepare engineering documents in accordance with relevant design codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Lead for Topside Piping Material in Project Team - Update and Maintain EPCI and O & M Phase Lesson Learnt database - Prepare and develop engineering documents in accordance with design codes, standards, and client specifications - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Provide engineering expertise for Piping and utility system - Manage interface with relevant disciplines - Perform Pipe wall thickness calculation - Prepare piping material specifications, Valve material specifications, Datasheets, and MTO - Review vendor proposals, data, and deliverables - Resolve technical issues during fabrication, installation & commissioning phases - Review the work of less experienced team members - Conduct feasibility studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPCI phase Engineering - Provide engineering review and support for bid proposal - Raise Technical Queries towards the clients project documents Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Minimum 10 years working experience with 5 years experience in Oil & Gas industries - Ability to manage multiple priorities - Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills In addition to the job role, Hanwha Ocean believes in the importance of diversity and inclusion.
