Senior Engineer, Industrial Engineering

Role Overview: As a Data Analyst at Sandisk, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Tableau/Power BI, Oracle PL/SQL, and Python to contribute to data development, visualization, automation, and performance optimization. Your role will involve driving business insights and efficiency through the creation of insightful reports, dashboards, database optimization, scripting for automation, and seamless data integration. Key Responsibilities: - Develop insightful reports and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to translate business needs into data-driven visual solutions. - Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers while creating and maintaining efficient, scalable database structures. - Develop Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and system integration, integrating them with Oracle databases and external applications. - Design and implement data migration scripts for seamless transitions and integrate databases with external systems using PL/SQL and Python. - Analyze and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and Python scripts to enhance performance, troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements, providing technical guidance and insights to stakeholders. Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (BE/B-Tech preferred). - 3 to 5 years of experience in Tableau/PowerBI development, Oracle SQL/PLSQL programming, Python. Technical Expertise: - Hands-on experience in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization. - Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development skills, including query optimization and performance tuning. - Proficiency in Python for data cleansing, ETL & automation. Preferred Skills: - Experience in the Supply Chain domain is a plus. - Ability to analyze complex data structures and solve technical challenges efficiently. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
