Senior Engineer Firmware

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer in software development, your primary objective will be to work independently on software development projects. You will have exposure to software design and will be responsible for implementing software with control functions, communication protocols, drivers, and web page user interface running on Linux or a real-time operating system. Additionally, you will coordinate and interface with other international design and development teams. Your role will involve contributing to project requirements analysis, understanding software design documents, and developing software using C/C++ technologies and web technologies. You will also be conducting software peer and code reviews and recommending plans to improve software quality in products. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinating and interfacing with other international design and development teams - Contributing to project requirements analysis and design - Assisting in the development of project plan and schedule - Understanding and updating the software design document based on requirement changes - Developing software in C/C++ technologies and web pages - Conducting software peer and code reviews - Recommending plans to improve software quality in products Qualifications Required: - BE in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering or equivalent - 5 to 8 years of experience in software development in a Linux environment - C & C++ experience is a must - Exposure to software design patterns - Interfacing with communication protocols such as Ethernet & TCP/IP, Modbus/BACnet SNMP protocol is preferred - Experience with various web technologies including CGI/Json/HTML/JavaScript is a must - Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, well-structured code is a must - Ability to review code for readability and robust/reliable operation in a software system is a must - Real-time operating system experience is preferred - Yocto experience is a plus - Web/CGI application background is a plus - Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English - Good interpersonal skills and strong team player,
