With sales of USD 1.7 billion in FY 2022 and over 7,000 talented employees across 30 countries and five continents, we are pioneers in energy innovation, driving towards a more sustainable and efficient energy landscape. **Role Overview:** - You will be responsible for designing and developing embedded systems, with a focus on firmware development for smart energy products. - Your role will involve hands-on coding experience in C++ & C, as well as working with 16/32 bit microcontrollers from manufacturers such as Renesas, TI, ARM. - You will have the opportunity to work on communication protocols like I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, and communication technologies including LTE, 2G/3G, and RF-Mesh. - Experience with RTOS, particularly threadX, is preferred, and knowledge of Configuration Management Systems like TFS and Requirement Management tools will be advantageous. - Your responsibilities will include developing technical specifications, Proof Of Concepts, evaluating prototypes, defining program scope, and participating in design/engineering reviews. - Troubleshooting and debugging with tools like oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer will be part of your day-to-day tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop embedded systems firmware - Code in C++ & C, work with 16/32 bit microcontrollers - Utilize communication protocols and technologies - Experience with RTOS, Configuration Management Systems, and Requirement Management tools - Develop technical specifications, evaluate prototypes, define program scope - Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues - Participate in design/engineering reviews **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of experience in design and development of embedded systems - Hands-on coding experience in C++ & C - Experience with 16/32 bit microcontrollers from manufacturers like Renesas, TI, ARM - Proficiency in communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet - Knowledge of communication technologies like LTE, 2G/3G, and RF-Mesh - Familiarity with RTOS, preferably threadX - Experience with Configuration Management Systems like TFS and Requirement Management tools - Previous work on energy devices firmware development lifecycle - Experience in Agile Process, TFS, Azure DevOps is a plus Join us at Landis+Gyr and #EnergizeYourCareer as we work towards a greener tomorrow.,
