Job Overview:

Senior Cost Estimator / Construction Cost Analyst

Role & responsibilities

  • Change Order Management:

    Take primary responsibility for managing and analyzing all change orders. Review the cost implications of changes to scope, schedule, and design, and develop updated cost estimates. Ensure all changes are accurately integrated into the project budget.
  • Cost Estimating:

    Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost analysis for large-scale construction projects, including materials, equipment, and overhead etc. to be provided by client per unit of each category. Ensure it align with project specifications and scope.
  • Cost Control for Change Orders:

    Monitor the financial impact of change orders throughout the project. Track and document the cost implications of changes.
  • Collaboration with Project Teams & Our Client:

    Work closely with project managers & client to assess changes and update cost variations. Ensure smooth communication regarding cost adjustments due to scope changes.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    Maintain comprehensive documentation of change orders and their cost implications. Track and report all changes in project cost to client, ensuring clear communication of any cost adjustments.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years

    of experience in construction cost estimation, with a focus on managing change orders and scope adjustments.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost structures, (Preferred US experience)
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore etc.).
  • Experience managing and assessing change orders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred BIM experience for quantities & cost calculations.
  • Experience in the U.S. construction market

    and familiarity with U.S. construction codes, regulations, and project practices is highly preferred.

  • Experience with all kind of constructions, e.g. commercial, residential, airports, institutional etc.
  • Familiarity with BIM software

    (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D) is an additional benefit for integration with project design and cost estimation workflows.
