Senior Engineer - Core technologies Storage

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge, world-class products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Your role will involve: - Knowledge and experience in device driver development and firmware development. - Demonstrating good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++. - Understanding microprocessor and multiprocessor architecture. - Excellent grasp of basic real-time/embedded programming concepts. - Experience in Windows/Linux/UEFI storage drivers for EMMC, UFS, NVME, and FS, with additional experience in windows/boot storage considered a plus. Your responsibilities will include: - Design and development of drivers on multiprocessor and multithreaded Snapdragon platforms. - Driver development/support involving storage protocols like EMMC/UFS/NVME/SATA. - Debugging and resolving issues in drivers reported by internal test teams and customers.
