Senior Engineer, Camera Systems

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will be involved in researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Designing computer vision / image processing for embedded devices - Designing and evaluating algorithms for implementation in hardware or software prototypes - Developing or Optimizing image processing and computer vision algorithms for HW acceleration - Supporting product teams for commercialization, including solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking - Conducting test regression and release support Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 2-5 years of experience in multimedia/embedded technologies - Programming skills in C/C++, Python - Experience working with real-time/embedded systems is a plus - Knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD frameworks Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities.
