Senior Engineer, Camera Systems

As a Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be a part of the growing multimedia systems team focused on innovating to enhance mobile multimedia capabilities with higher performance at lower power consumption and device cost. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to cutting-edge efforts in vision/image processing technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design computer vision/image processing solutions for embedded devices - Evaluate and design algorithms for implementation in hardware or software prototypes - Develop and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms for hardware acceleration - Support product teams in commercialization efforts, including solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking - Perform test regression and provide release support **Qualification Required:** - 2-5 years of experience in multimedia/embedded technologies - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python - Experience with real-time/embedded systems is a plus - Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD frameworks **Preferred Qualifications:** - Exposure or working experience in Vision or Multimedia accelerators - Working experience with image processing algorithms - Knowledge or working experience in computer vision algorithms - Strong understanding of data structures and experience with C/C++ programming - Experience in software optimizations using SIMD and multi-threading techniques Join Qualcomm India to be a part of a workplace committed to accessibility and equal opportunities.
