Senior Engineer - Building Technology Systems

You will be responsible for designing and engineering building technology systems, including ICT, Audio-Visual, Security, Home Automation, and Guest room management systems. You will collaborate with project leads, architects, and other engineers to integrate technology systems within new and existing buildings. Your tasks will include creating detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for building technology projects. You will evaluate and select appropriate technology solutions and vendors to achieve project goals. It is important for you to stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to building technology systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and engineer building technology systems such as ICT, Audio-Visual, Security, Home Automation, and Guest room management systems - Collaborate with project leads, architects, and engineers to integrate technology systems within buildings - Create detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for building technology projects - Evaluate and select technology solutions and vendors to achieve project goals - Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to building technology systems Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering (E&CE, Electrical, or related field) - Minimum 8 years of experience in building technology systems or related field - Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) - Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainability practices - Middle-East project experience is desired - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team - Relevant certifications are a plus WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm dedicated to local communities and international projects.
