Senior Embedded Software Engineer

As a Software Platform Engineer at Avensys, you will have the opportunity to design and maintain platform features with a strong focus on built-in quality to support long-term scalability and performance. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, contributing to automated testing and continuous integration, and translating business needs into technical solutions. You will collaborate with product teams to align on architecture, manage interdependencies, and prioritize platform initiatives effectively. Additionally, you will participate in technical planning and mentor and onboard team members to foster a strong development culture. Adhering to the lean and agile development process will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and maintaining platform features with a focus on quality - Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to automated testing - Translating business needs into technical solutions - Collaborating with product teams and prioritizing platform initiatives - Participating in technical planning and mentoring team members - Adhering to the lean and agile development process Qualifications Required: - Engineering degree in Robotic, Data Technology, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or similar - 5+ years of experience in platform or systems software development - Proven track record of writing production-quality software in multi-developer environments - Deep expertise in Operating Systems, networking, and embedded Linux - Strong programming skills, preferably in C, Python, and Go - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Comfortable working with engineering teams based in Europe Avensys is a reputed global IT professional services company headquartered in Singapore, with a client base across various industries.
