Senior Embedded Developer

We are seeking independent thinkers and high-fliers to contribute to the culture of our progressive company. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing software for IoT devices using C, C++, and Python. You will be involved in integrating IoT devices with cloud services through AWS IoT to process and store data collected by the devices. Collaboration with hardware engineers will be essential to ensure software compatibility with the hardware and troubleshoot any arising issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing documents to support the software development process, including requirements documents, design documents, and user manuals. Your role will also involve mentoring junior developers to aid in their skills and expertise development. In terms of technical project management, you will lead scrum meetings, manage projects, and coordinate with other teams to ensure a smooth software development process. Ideal candidates should possess 2-6 years of experience in IoT firmware development. Experience with 32-bit ARM controller, Modbus, BacNet, Ethernet, WiFi, etc., will be advantageous. Proficiency in integrating IoT devices with cloud services, such as AWS IoT, is also required. In addition to technical skills, applicants must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing. The ability to influence, coach, and train others is essential. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, scheduling, time management, and organization skills are also necessary. Leading and mentoring junior developers, as well as managing projects and coordinating with other teams, are key aspects of this role.
