As a Senior Editor, you will assist the Editor-in-Chief in all aspects of the organisation and preparation of the journal. You will take ownership of submissions and peer review to ensure we publish high-quality content. Responsibilities Assisting the Editor with decisions on which new submissions should be considered for publication and help the Editor develop editorial strategy. Assisting the Editor with timely production of 12 journal issues. Commission comment, review, and news content as necessary. Editorial writing. Organizing peer review of research articles and reviews. Provide training and mentorship to new Editors on the team, focusing on manuscript evaluation, peer-review processes, editorial writing, and commissioning content. Developing and maintain relationships with medical research communities to attract high-quality research for the journal. Attending conferences and events to represent the journal, to identify suitable topics and authors, and to keep up to date with current developments in medical research. Requirements An MD or PhD (Clinical Research) with postdoctoral experience of atleast 3+ months in a relevant subject, or, a postgraduate higher degree in a relevant discipline plus substantial editorial experience at a senior level on a peer reviewed STM journal Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of biological and medical sciences and broader social issues pertaining to the Southeast Asia region Ability to engage and build relationships with external stakeholders, including medical and research professionals, a range of internal teams, and members of the media Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently to demanding press deadlines Excellent command of the English language and the ability to write in an engaging and interesting manner Substantial experience of working with editorial, production, marketing, communications, web, and other related teams necessary in seeing content from submission through to publication and beyond Proficiency with IT systems including MS Office

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Editor to lead, manage, and elevate our editorial content. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, excellent language and communication skills, and the ability to mentor writers while upholding the voice, quality, and standards of our publication/brand. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end editorial process from content planning to publishing. Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and tone. Collaborate with the team to develop engaging and high-quality content. Ensure all content aligns with the brand s voice, style, and editorial guidelines. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to writers and editors. Work closely with design, marketing, and digital teams for content integration. Stay updated on industry trends, reader preferences, and content best practices. Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high quality. Requirements: Bachelor s or Master s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. 5 8 years of experience in content creation, editing, or publishing. Content Planning: Develop and plan radio program content, including topics, scripts, interviews, and features, to engage the target audience. Script Editing: Review and edit scripts for radio shows, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engaging storytelling. Voice Direction: Provide guidance to radio hosts and announcers regarding voice modulation, tone, and style for on-air delivery. Technical Oversight: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper sound quality, transitions, and broadcasting standards. Live Broadcasts: Manage live broadcasts, cueing segments, music, and advertisements, while adhering to broadcast schedules. Guest Coordination: Arrange and coordinate guest interviews, ensuring smooth interactions and compelling content. Role Responsibilities Processing contracts and payments Entering contracts analyzing contract clauses in the system and thereafter processing payments based on both contractual terms and the payment request raised Auditing processed contracts and payments Reviewing and examining contracts and payments already entered in the system and helping the team implement various Quality Control Mechanism for ensuring timely and accurate payments Maintaining database for Business Partners Creating and maintaining Business Partner records in the database at header level (including Name, Address, Email ID etc) after carefully looking for potential duplicates Report on team performance data and present them before the management team Working cautiously on team performance data every month, prepare a detailed report of it and present the same before the team and management Data allocation Regular allocation of tasks based on data extracted from various resources in rotation every month to ensure efficiency in the process Preparing multiple reports on daily basis Preparation of small reports for working on such contracts and payments where any modification is required Communication with different internal teams and external contacts This includes the responsibility for following up on missing information, resolving queries internally, and answering questions from internal and external teams Additional activities (non-related to typical production) Activities other than Contract and payments processing, like Knowledge Sharing sessions, Communication Development sessions etc also forms an integral part of the system Ad-hoc responsibilities There could be several other tasks than the aforementioned responsibilities that come from time to time, like working on modifying migrated contracts, ad-hoc payment requests, working on other special cases during royalty runs every year, and is inevitable for the smooth running of the system Support for queries raised by different teams Answering queries raised by Business Partners, internal and external teams to locate payments, contracts, Royalty statement, 10CCD Tax Form (which includes filling up such forms along with queries or requests), clarification on the daily tasks that is performed etc, are pertinent to the process Experience, Skills & Qualifications Law Graduates with 3 to 5 years experience in Royalty Contract Process Ability of understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be fluent in English (written and spoken). The position is offered on a full-time basis and will be located in Pune, India on a hybrid working pattern. The applicant must be able to demonstrate the right to live and work in India.
