Senior Draftsman Interior Fit-Out

As a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman with strong UAE / GCC experience in interior fit-out and joinery works, your role will involve preparing, reviewing, and developing detailed drawings as per UAE/GCC standards. You will ensure technical accuracy, coordination, and alignment with design intent while providing value engineering options and technical solutions for design and site-related issues. Your proficiency in materials, finishes, and construction methodologies used in UAE/GCC interiors will be crucial, along with effective coordination with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and develop detailed drawings for fit-out and joinery works following UAE/GCC standards. - Ensure technical accuracy, coordination, and alignment with design intent. - Provide value engineering options and technical solutions for design and site-related issues. - Coordinate effectively with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients. - Maintain high drafting speed while ensuring quality and accuracy. - Review design intent drawings, prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical details. - Identify discrepancies in drawings and propose corrective actions. - Support the project team in resolving technical and drawing-related queries on site. - Maintain drawing records and revisions systematically. Key Requirements: - Diploma / Degree in Civil / Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent. - 10-12 years of drafting experience in UAE / GCC with a strong background in fit-out and joinery works. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. - Solid understanding of interior architectural detailing, joinery works, and fit-out technicalities. - Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. Added Advantage: - Familiarity with Revit / BIM drafting. - Experience working with design consultants and contractors in UAE/GCC. - Problem-solving mindset with proactive technical inputs.
