Position Overview

Senior Draftsman Electrical (Overhead Transmission Lines)

layouts, and design documentation for overhead transmission line (OHTL) projects. The role involves working closely with design engineers, project managers,

and field teams to ensure accuracy, compliance with international standards, and timely delivery of project documentation.

Role & responsibilities

Preparation of Structure Arrangement in Overhead lines.

• Preparation of Foundation drawings.
• Preparation of Pile Foundation Designs.
• Preparation of Civil drawings.
• Preparation of Bar Bending schedule.
• Preparation of Route plan Drawing as per client specification.
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings as per client specification.
• Preparation of Electrical clearance diagram drawings as per client specification.
• Preparation of site co-ordination drawings as per client specification
• Increased project efficiency by producing accurate and detailed civil drawings

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D

• Strong understanding of

  overhead transmission line design principles

  .
• Knowledge of

  tower structures, conductors, insulators, and accessories

  .
• Familiarity with

  civil/structural interfaces

  related to transmission line foundations and clearances.
• Ability to work

  independently and in a team environment

  .
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with

  OHTL projects (220 kV and above preferred)

  .
