The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director Business Technology Site Lead to spearhead our IT team in Bengaluru, India. Reporting directly to Bazaarvoice's CIO, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening our IT organization while leading a transformation toward a more globally dispersed operational model. This transformation will introduce new operating models to keep pace with the agility and innovation that define Bazaarvoice. We're looking for a leader with technical expertise and strong people leadership skills - someone who thrives in a SaaS-based technology environment and has successfully built and led teams through organizational transformations. You will balance business processes and technical requirements, instill this mindset across your team, and advocate for a culture where employees feel valued and empowered. Your ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent will be essential to our success. Key Responsibilities Team Building & Leadership Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing team in Bengaluru, working primarily in an EMEA timezone shift. Foster a collaborative, learning-driven, and innovative culture, ensuring team alignment with Bazaarvoice's mission and values. Define clear performance metrics, provide ongoing feedback, and mentor team members to support their career growth. Strategic Planning & Execution Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and implement IT initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and support business growth. Drive the adoption of best practices in IT service management, ensuring technology solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure. Culture & Employee Engagement Champion Bazaarvoice's values and cultivate a positive, engaging work environment. Organize team-building activities, training programs, and recognition initiatives to enhance engagement and morale. Act as a cultural ambassador for the Bengaluru office, ensuring local teams feel connected to global BTO initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Build strong relationships with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to align IT initiatives with company-wide goals. Engage with external partners and vendors to leverage industry best practices and maintain high performance standards. Manage relationships with local third-party vendors to ensure quality service, engagement, and SLA adherence. Change Management & Innovation Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational, process, or technology transformations. Encourage a culture of innovation, empowering team members to propose and implement new IT solutions. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance Bazaarvoice's business technology. Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of experience managing direct reports and 10+ years leading cross-functional teams, including mentoring and coaching. 10+ years of experience in SaaS technologies, with expertise in: Salesforce & its ecosystem (CPQ, Communities, Data Cloud/Einstein, commissions tools, Certinia). ERP & Finance Tools (NetSuite, Coupa, Egencia). Identity & Integration Platforms (Okta, Workato/Mulesoft/Boomi). Data & Analytics (Snowflake, Atlassian, general application development). Proven ability to lead multi-functional business technology teams across different time zones. Experience working with third-party partners and vendors, including labor management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of the SaaS business model.
