Senior DevOps GCP services

Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role will involve leading automation initiatives, improving deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and manage GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for multiple services and environments. - Develop and maintain Terraform modules for consistent infrastructure deployment. - Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Cloud Run. - Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth and secure application delivery. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to enhance performance and stability. - Automate operational tasks with Python scripts and GitLab pipelines. - Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficiency across all GCP projects. - Contribute to architectural decisions and promote DevOps best practices across the organization. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles. - Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, Secret Manager, etc.). - Proven expertise with Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure. - Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD (or similar CI/CD tools). - Good scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash. - Strong knowledge of Docker, Serverless, and Kubernetes ecosystems. - Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP Cloud Monitoring). - Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and Linux system administration. - Strong communication skills to help drive acceptance and implementation of modern DevOps principles. Additional Details: The company values individuals who have experience integrating security scanning tools into pipelines, implementing Infrastructure Testing (Terratest, OPA), working with Kubernetes (GKE), Firebase, and holding a certification in GCP. Experience in NodeJS and Typescript, ideally with web-based frameworks such as NestJS and Express, is considered a plus.,
