Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at DHL IT Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of DHL packages globally while maintaining the security of customer data. You will be responsible for providing second/third level day-to-day operation support, investigating and resolving incidents, and collaborating with other IT support teams and specialists to troubleshoot complex issues. Communication with vendors regarding firmware bugs, vulnerabilities, and other technology-related issues will be essential. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for any telecommunication/security systems issues within the DHL Group environment and will manage, propose, and implement changes to production security devices in all IT Services Data Centers and premises to ensure global availability of key DHL Group services. Your expertise will also be required in security technologies such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Proxies, Azure, and Google Cloud. Key Responsibilities: - Provide second/third level day-to-day operation support and investigate/resolve incidents - Collaborate with other IT support teams and specialists for complex issue resolution - Communicate with vendors regarding firmware bugs, vulnerabilities, and other technology-related issues - Manage telecommunication/security systems within the DHL Group environment - Propose and implement changes to production security devices in IT Services Data Centers and premises - Support security technologies like Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Proxies, Azure, and Google Cloud Qualifications Required: - Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Forgerock and Cloud technologies - Proficiency in Java development, specifically Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle time and workload pressure - Strong written and spoken English skills for cross-region collaboration in a multinational environment In this role, having ForgeRock skills is a huge plus, along with very good knowledge of Java development and Azure Cloud services. You are expected to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively under time and workload pressure, and collaborate with teams globally. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and collaboration.
