Senior Developer - SQL Database Engineer

You will be joining as a Database Engineer in our software engineering team where you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle - Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code - Participating in regular code reviews and leading team refactoring efforts - Database tuning to optimize performance - Experience with best practices around database operations - ETL experience, specifically with SSIS - Working in an Agile development process and tools - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and break down tasks - Working in production systems To be considered for this position, you need to meet the following qualification criteria: - 3+ years of experience working as a database engineer or in a related role - Strong SQL expertise with a deep understanding of various database objects - Experience in data modeling and understanding of data warehousing architecture - SQL server administration experience - Ability to troubleshoot potential issues and track bugs at the raw data level - ETL experience is a must - Understanding of common data warehouse best practices and data cleansing - Experience working with stakeholders and in production systems - A strong desire to learn new technologies and grow within the team Preferred Experience: - Degree in computer science or other technical domain - Experience with both MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server - Experience with Python In addition to the job role, the company offers pickup & drop cab and food facility.
