Job Description

Role: Senior Kong API Gateway Developer
Immediate joiners preferred
This position is
Work from Office- WFO

Working days- 5 days a week.
The job location will be
Sec 59- Noida or Gurgaon
Candidates currently based in Delhi-NCR
Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
Immediate availability for interviews
Strong hands on experience along with good communication skills and team fit
Long-term commitment preferred

We are seeking a skilled Kong API Gateway Developer with 4+ years of experience to help design, implement, and manage scalable and secure API solutions using Kong. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kong and a strong understanding of API development and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and configure Kong services, routes, and plugins
Implement API security, traffic control, and authentication mechanisms
Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to integrate APIs effectively
Monitor API performance and assist in resolving technical issues
Develop or customize Kong plugins (Lua scripting experience is a plus)
Document configurations and contribute to best practices

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience with API development and management
Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway
Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Lua scripting (preferred, not mandatory)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container environments is a plus
Good communication and problem-solving skills
