Senior Developer, Business Intelligence

As a MIS- Power BI Developer at Waste Management (WM), a Fortune 250 company, you will be responsible for understanding, creating, and developing Power BI (PBI) reports from scratch. Your primary role will involve transforming various reports into PBI versions based on requests received from US counterparts by the India team. Your duties and responsibilities will include: - Having excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of Advance Excel - Demonstrating sound knowledge of Power BI, VBA, SQL, Snowflake, and other DB structures - Experience with PowerApps and knowledge of programming languages will be a plus - Designing, building, and deploying BI solutions, such as reporting tools - Configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements - Transforming existing non-Power BI reports into Power BI format - Ensuring timely SOP updation and reports transition - Improving daily processing efficiency and accuracy while identifying automation prospects - Cultivating and maintaining working relationships with team members You may also have supervisory responsibilities, including coaching and mentoring less-experienced analysts and leading team projects. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, be a graduate, and possess the following skills: - Ability to read and interpret documents - Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts - Strong reasoning ability and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in using accounting software, database software, M.S. Outlook, M.S. Word, MS Excel, and M.S. PowerPoint - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet vendors" expectations The work environment for this position involves using motor coordination, exerting physical effort occasionally, and minimal exposure to physical risks or elements.
