Description
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in architecting exceptional software experience, designing, developing and deploying scalable, secure backend systems using Java, J2EE, JS and GoLang
Provide technical leadership and guidance to an agile team to accurately estimate and deliver complex features on time by implementing innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for delivering performance optimization solutions using AI for Kubernetes applications, including optimal performance, observability and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging.
Implement robust RESTful APIs and micro-services aligned with enterprise cloud-native standards.
Establish coding standards, influence architectural direction, and promote the adoption of best practices across backend systems.
Own performance tuning, monitoring, and high availability for backend services using tools like Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana.
Implement security, compliance, and privacy by design principles in backend systems.
Work closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to ensure seamless alignment between software development and user expectations, and represent the team at company events and conferences.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be mentoring and guiding junior engineers, working with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery and process improvement.
You will also stay abreast of the latest advancements in systems engineering, performance optimization and AI, driving their adoption within the organization.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Software Development Expertise:
15+ years of experience developing object-oriented server-side applications. Deep expertise in Java, Python, J2EE, JS and GoLang for building distributed backend systems. Strong expertise in web programming, like REST and HTTP. Experience developing in a Linux environment is a must.
Cloud Technology Proficiency:
Proven track record with microservices architecture, including Docker, Kubernetes, and service deployment patterns. Expert-level familiarity with backend-focused CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk, focusing on backend telemetry and observability
Relational Database Knowledge:
Advanced experience in architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, service meshes, and inter-service communication. Expert in Postgres or equivalent RDBMS — data modelling, indexing, and performance optimization at scale

Preferred technical and professional experience 15+ years of overall work experience, with proven ability to manage projects and activities, self motivated technical leader with proven expertise architecting backend design and strategy for Java, Kubernetes and Cloud domainExperience in setting technical direction and strategy for Gen AI, AI/ML projectsProficient programming skills in Java, Python, Go Lang and experience with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/IBM Cloud/Azure. Previous experience with JEE and Hibernate will be a plus.Experience with open source communities and development.Extensive experience with generative AI technologies, including RAG, Vector DBs, and frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face, Agentic AIExtensive experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
