Senior Designer - Machine Design

As a Mechanical Technician at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in preparing and checking part level manufacturing drawings using 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD. Your responsibilities will include creating and updating assembly drawings, ensuring the inclusion of appropriate GD&T, welding symbols, and machining symbols in drawing deliverables. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and updating Plant layouts using AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and check part level manufacturing drawings in 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD - Create and update assembly drawings in 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD - Ensure the inclusion of GD&T, welding symbols, and machining symbols in drawing deliverables - Develop and update Plant layouts using AutoCAD Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Mechanical - Total Experience of 10 years or more - Experience in machine components used in Special purpose machines - Industry experience in Manufacturing and Machine design - Proficiency in SolidWorks with hands-on experience of minimum 8 years - Proficiency in AutoCAD with hands-on experience of minimum 8 years - Hands-on experience in Inventor is nice to have but not mandatory At Jacobs, the emphasis is on your contributions rather than your location.
