SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - SOLAR PLANT

As a Senior Design Engineer for Solar Power Plant Ground Mount, your role involves designing, optimizing, and preparing detailed engineering deliverables for solar power projects, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - System Design & Engineering - Prepare conceptual, basic, and detailed designs for ground-mounted solar PV plants (DC & AC side). - Perform site layout preparation using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar tools. - Conduct shadow analysis, energy yield assessment, and performance ratio calculations. - Prepare single line diagrams (SLDs) and wiring layouts. - Select appropriate modules, inverters, structures, cables, and other Balance of System (BoS) components. - Technical Analysis & Documentation - Prepare engineering drawings, datasheets, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs). - Ensure designs meet IEC, IS, and MNRE standards. - Optimize system design for cost efficiency and maximum output. - Prepare as-built drawings post-commissioning. - Coordination & Compliance - Coordinate with procurement, construction, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams. - Support liaison with electrical inspectors, DISCOMs, and other statutory authorities. - Conduct design reviews and quality checks. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. - Project Support - Provide technical inputs during bidding, tender preparation, and client discussions. - Support troubleshooting and design-related queries during execution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful design and implementation of ground-mounted solar PV systems, contributing to the growth of the renewable energy sector.,
