SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - SOLAR PLANT

As a Solar Power Plant - Sr. Design Engineer specializing in ground-mounted solar PV systems, your role involves designing, optimizing, and creating detailed engineering deliverables for solar power projects. Your responsibilities include: - System Design & Engineering: - Prepare conceptual, basic, and detailed designs for ground-mounted solar PV plants on both DC & AC sides. - Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar software for site layout preparation. - Perform shadow analysis, energy yield assessment, and calculate performance ratios. - Develop single line diagrams (SLDs) and wiring layouts. - Select suitable modules, inverters, structures, cables, and other Balance of System (BoS) components. - Technical Analysis & Documentation: - Create engineering drawings, datasheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). - Ensure designs adhere to IEC, IS, and MNRE standards. - Optimize system design for cost efficiency and maximum output. - Generate as-built drawings post-commissioning. - Coordination & Compliance: - Collaborate with procurement, construction, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams. - Assist in interactions with electrical inspectors, DISCOMs, and other regulatory bodies. - Conduct design reviews and quality checks. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Project Support: - Offer technical insights during bidding, tender preparation, and client meetings. - Provide assistance in troubleshooting and addressing design-related queries during project execution. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering successful and efficient ground-mounted solar PV projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.,
