As a Solar Power Plant - Sr. Design Engineer specializing in ground-mounted solar PV systems, your role involves designing, optimizing, and creating detailed engineering deliverables for solar power projects. The Site Engineer will oversee the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of a solar power plant. Responsibilities 1. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Management: Oversee the daily operations of the solar power plant to ensure seamless functionality. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, and other critical equipment . Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime. 2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Lead fault diagnosis and rectification for electrical, mechanical, and control system issues. Ensure quick resolution of plant failures to optimize power generation efficiency. Coordinate with OEMs and technical experts for complex troubleshooting and upgrades. 3. Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis: Analyze plant performance data to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies. Monitor energy generation trends, grid compliance, and equipment performance to maximize output. Prepare detailed technical reports on plant health, downtime analysis, and action plans for improvement. 4. Compliance, Safety, and Regulatory Standards: Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms, environmental regulations, and renewable energy compliance standards . Minimum 4 years of experience in solar power plant O&M. 33KV Electrical License/ Supervisory License Expertise in PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA systems, and grid integration . Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, preventive maintenance strategies, and failure analysis techniques . Proficiency in data monitoring tools, reporting software, and remote monitoring systems. Leadership skills with experience in managing on-site teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good communication skills in English and local language .
