a) Strong in analog design viz. signal conditioning of V signals, acquisition/generation of low-level analog signals etc. with a good understanding of noise and other specifications of Op-Amps, ADCs, DACs and other analog ICs.
b) Strong in digital design and embedded systems using Microcontrollers and Microprocessors.
c) Good in implementation of power supplies, power amplifiers and other relevant power circuitry.
d) Strong understanding of various applicable standards (EMI/EMC, Environmental, Power Supply, Lightning, ESD etc.) and competent to guide implementation accordingly.
e) Good in Architecting Fail-safe & Fault-tolerant solutions with due considerations to DFR, DFT, DFM, Thermal management etc.
f) Knowledge on Avionics buses viz. ARINC 429, Mil1553B etc. will be an added advantage
a) Candidate should be able to independently - Understand Requirements, Design, Development and Testing (Functional & Qualification) - of Electronic Systems such as Airborne LRUs, Naval Electronic Systems etc.
b) Manage various tasks in the Design & Development life cycle including Analysis, Simulations, Component selection, Design, Schematic Capture, Co-ordinate PCB Design (Layout and Routing), Assembly Co-ordination, Board Bring-up, building prototypes and testing etc.
c) Manage design reviews (PDR, CDR etc.) and technical communications with customers, certification & inspection agencies.
d) Architect and manage development of Test set-ups
e) Preparation of various Design Documentation, Reports, Manuals etc.
f) Preparation of detailed WBS with functional Project Management capabilities
g) Support for estimations and preparing proposals.
h) Shall lead at least two Design Engineers
