Senior Data Scientist

UnifyCX is looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to join the team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex statistical models and machine learning algorithms to support data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves leading data analysis projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying key business insights, trends, and opportunities. We believe that data transformation and integration play a crucial role in generating business insights. Therefore, we are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with experience in automating data pipelines to ensure proper data transformation and integration for analytics systems. This automation will facilitate faster and more efficient data analysis, ultimately enhancing decision-making across the organization. To qualify for this role, you must have a Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, experience with SQL databases (including big data platforms like Redshift or Snowflake), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential. Experience in automating data transformation processes using tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar, along with excellent communication skills, is also required. As a Senior Data Scientist at UnifyCX, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key business problems, designing and executing experiments to test hypotheses, and validating models. You will use data visualization techniques to present complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, mentoring and leading junior data scientists, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, and effectively communicating insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders are key aspects of this role.
