Shift time - 6 AM to 3 PM

Location - Navi Mumbai/Pune

Senior Data Engineer

Senior Process Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
scalable ELT pipelines
using
Matillion
and
Snowflake
for ingestion, transformation, and integration of structured and semi-structured data.
Build real-time and batch data pipelines using Snowflake features:
SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Replication, and Zero-Copy Cloning
.
Develop and optimize
Python-based data transformation scripts
to automate complex business logics.
Collaborate with business and BI teams to
understand reporting needs
and deliver
curated datasets
for
Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
.
Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring dashboards for proactive issue detection.
Optimize Snowflake compute usage and manage cost-effective data processing strategies.
Collaborate with data architects to define data models, schema design, and data governance best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure high data reliability.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering best practices.

Technical and Functional Skills:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field.
9+ years of overall experience, with 6+ years of hands-on experience in:
Snowflake: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Replication, Zero-Copy Cloning.
Matillion: Building, scheduling, and monitoring pipelines.
Python: For data transformation, automation, and integration tasks.
Advanced SQL: Complex joins, stored procedures, user-defined functions, and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling (Star, Snowflake schema), and data lakehouse concepts.
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure / AWS / GCP) hosting Snowflake and Matillion.
Experience in data quality frameworks and data governance practices.
Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification is preferred.
