Senior Data Engineer

Were seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our client, a world-class education consulting firm, in building robust data solutions that drive innovation and scalability. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS to drive analytics and ML solutions.
• Leverage AWS services (RDS, Glue, Lambda, S3, SageMaker) to efficiently manage and process large-scale datasets.
• Integrate DevOps best practices into data workflows, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation for scalable deployments.
• Develop and manage IaC templates (Terraform, CloudFormation) to streamline AWS resource provisioning for data and ML workloads.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure pipeline reliability, performance, and data integrity.

Qualifications & Skills required for the role:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT processes, data pipeline development, and cloud-based data solutions.
• AWS Proficiency: Deep expertise in S3, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker, RDS, and related services.
• Programming: Advanced Python skills, including Pandas, PySpark, and scripting for automation.
• DevOps & IaC: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch).
• Data Architecture: Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and scalable data modeling.
• Collaboration & Agile: Excellent communication skills with a track record of working in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex data challenges.
• Execution & Adaptability: Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines
