Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines on AWS. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using Spark, Glue, and SQL - Managing and optimizing cloud storage and compute environments - Ensuring robust and automated deployments with Terraform and Jenkins - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products To excel in this role, you must have the following technical skills: - Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing on AWS cloud - Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda - Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analytics - Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform - Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins Additionally, it would be nice to have prior experience in the Healthcare / Life Sciences domain and familiarity with modern data lake and data mesh architectures.
