Role

• Build & Maintain Data Pipelines:

  Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Implement Data Solutions:

  Implement data models and database solutions on modern cloud platforms like

  Snowflake

  ,

  Google BigQuery

  ,

  Amazon Redshift

  , and

  Databricks

  .

• Optimize Performance:

  Monitor, debug, and optimize data pipelines and queries to ensure high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure Data Quality:

  Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.

• Collaborate:

  Work in an agile environment with data scientists, analysts, and architects to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.

• Automate & Deploy:

  Contribute to our CI/CD processes and utilize infrastructure-as-code principles for deploying data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Proven Experience:

  Strong track record as a Data Engineer, with hands-on experience building and managing data-intensive applications.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Expert-level skills in

  SQL

  and

  Python

  for data processing and pipeline development.

• Cloud Skills:

  Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (

  AWS, GCP, or Azure

  ) and its data services.

• Modern Data Stack Experience:

  Practical experience with modern data warehouses or lakehouse platforms like

  Snowflake

  ,

  BigQuery

  ,

  Redshift

  , or

  Databricks

  .

• Data Fundamentals:

  Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and database design.

• Version Control:

  Proficiency with Git and CI/CD best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• International Client Experience:

  Proven experience working with international customers, especially in the

  US and European markets

  .

• IT Services Background:

  Previous experience at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Indian IT services company is a strong plus.

• Data Transformation:

  Experience with data transformation tools like

  dbt

  is highly desirable.

• Workflow Orchestration:

  Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as

  Apache Airflow

  for managing complex data pipelines.

• Infrastructure as Code:

  Familiarity with tools like

  Terraform

  or CloudFormation.

• Streaming Data:

  Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).

• Certifications:

  Relevant cloud data engineering certifications are a plus.
