Senior Data and Applied Scientist

Job Description: As a Senior Data and Applied Scientist at Pattern, you will collaborate with the Data Science team to analyze and curate data. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement machine learning models and statistical techniques to enhance advertising effectiveness on ecommerce platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain machine learning and statistical models to optimize advertising campaigns for improved search visibility and conversion rates on ecommerce platforms. - Continuously enhance the quality of machine learning models, focusing on key metrics like search ranking, keyword bidding, CTR, and conversion rate estimation. - Conduct research to incorporate new data sources, innovate feature engineering, fine-tune algorithms, and improve data pipelines for robust model performance. - Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights that inform advertising strategies. - Collaborate closely with teams in different regions (US and India) to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing. - Allocate 20% of your time to MLOps for efficient and reliable model deployment and operations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - 3-6 years of industry experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions. - Proficiency in data manipulation and programming using Python and SQL, with hands-on expertise in libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, and XGBoost. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for analyzing complex data. - Extensive knowledge of various machine learning and statistical techniques, including linear and tree-based models, and understanding of model evaluation metrics. - Familiarity with Git, AWS, Docker, and MLFlow is advantageous.,
