Senior Consultant- PLSQL Developer

Career Level - IC2

Responsibilities

As an integral part of the development team, you will be responsible for the following

• Understand user requirements and discuss with onsite/offshore lead for requirement clarifications.
• Write queries on Microsoft SQL Server 2018 n above Database Platform job scheduling, troubleshooting, database design, performance tunning.
• Release preparation and work with QA for any deployment issues
• QA/UAT and Prod support.
  

Mandatory Skills

1.3 to 5 Years of experience in database programing, data modeling , tunning etc.,

• Candidate must be from development background, strong in Oracle PLSQL, Unix, database design, application performance tuning
• Strong in Oracle Database concepts, DBMS Transaction details, Advanced PLSQL programming features (parallel processing, With clause, Pipe function, data transpose etc)
• Well versed with performance tuning approach, tools used etc
• Setting up PLSQL programming best practices and adherence
• Experience in handling high data intensive applications
• Good in Unix shell commands, scripting language, file transfer mechanisms.
• Hands on in Release management process & conversant with tools like IBM ClearCase and batch automation tools like IBM Autosys
• Conversant in Agile methodology of project execution is preferred
• Customer facing experience w.r.to technical discussions
  

Good to Have Skills

• Experience in Microsoft Reporting Services 2012/2014/2016 Development Environments
• Any exp in SQL migration from lower version to higher
• Cloud based experience.
