Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant Oracle FLEXCUBE/Banking Products, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and support of mission-critical banking solutions. You will leverage your technical and domain expertise to deliver quality outcomes in areas such as migration, integration, testing, and solution customization. This client-facing role offers opportunities to build next-generation banking capabilities while working collaboratively in dynamic, multinational environments.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 37 years of experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications (minimum 2 years in primary skill areas).
- Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices architectures, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and XML.
- Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c/12c).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic application server deployment and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of release management and source control tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong English communication and technical documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations, work offshore, and take up relevant certifications as required.
- Ability to work shifts on a rotation basis according to project needs.
- Demonstrated team player with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Good-to-Have:
- Prior exposure to the banking domain and relevant banking terminologies.
- Familiarity with software development processes, DevOps practices, and testing tools.
- Experience with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, and middleware solutions such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite.
- Awareness of emerging technologies in the banking sector.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical team member for development, implementation, or managed services activitiesincluding migration, integration, and testingin Oracle FLEXCUBE and related core banking solutions.
- Lead the analysis, design, and delivery of tailored solutions meeting customer requirements within planned timeframes.
- Develop, test, and deploy programs as per specifications, adhering to Oracle/client quality standards, processes, and change controls.
- Document all work thoroughly to maintain auditability, compliance, and continuous knowledge transfer.
- Facilitate releases and troubleshoot deployments on application servers, especially Oracle WebLogic.
- Engage and collaborate with clients, presenting solutions and ensuring high standards of customer interface.
- Track and resolve application issues, escalating and following up as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular status updates and ensure timely submission of timesheets, expenses, and handover documentation.
