Senior Consultant - Data & BI Integration

The Senior Consultant designs, models, maintains, and develops ETL/Integration processes leveraging different technologies and techniques, analysis, and dashboards. The Senior Consultant interacts with technical administration as an expert-level problem solver and develops job skills and knowledge to introduce new techniques and technologies within the company and to perform assignments of increasing complexity. The Senior Consultant is also responsible for coordinating all efforts needed to successfully implement the requirements/projects. The Senior Consultant will be able to develop an end-to-end solution from gathering and transforming the data to modeling and creating the front-end solution to deliver to end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the values and vision of the organization and align the activities accordingly.
• Protect the Intellectual Property.
• Adhere to all the policies and procedures.
• Work with other line functions to collect or provide relevant data.
• Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security.
• Maintain both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users.
• Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act.
• Write documentation, including standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata).
• Control access permissions and privileges, develop, manage, and test security models.
• Work closely with IT project managers, functional users, and other BI and Functional developers.
• Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff.
• Design and implement data models to support reporting needs.
• Develop ETL processes/flows.
• Develop analysis and dashboards.

Essential Skills:

Job:

• Excellent written and verbal communication; coding skills are essential.
• Proficient in customer relationship management.
• Familiar with main data manipulation languages and the principles of DWH design.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in IT.
• Knowledge of database theory, database design, and excellent SQL skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of BI/Integration tools such as ODI 11g/12c and OBIEE 12c.
• Dynamic, flexible, and possesses perseverance skills.
• Exhibit reactiveness and constructiveness at work, suggesting innovative and pragmatic solutions.
• Utilize secondary research sources and techniques.

Job:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud BI and ETL tools is a plus: Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Business Intelligence Cloud Service, DataSync, BI Cloud Connector Console.
• Experience with BI Apps and Cloud sources is preferred.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independently.
• Versatile thinker with understanding across different industries, products, technologies, disciplines, etc.
