Senior Consultant - AI and Data - AWS

Role Overview: - Writes ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems, and develops tools for real-time and offline analytic processing. - Troubleshoots software and processes for data consistency and integrity. Integrates data from various sources to generate insights for business partners. - Translates business specifications into design specifications and code, ensuring well-structured, documented, and maintainable code. - Partners with internal clients to understand business functions and informational needs. Develops working knowledge in tools and technologies. - Participates in all phases of solution development and provides technical explanations in meetings. - Tests code thoroughly for accuracy and regression testing. Reviews end product with clients for comprehension. Key Responsibilities: - Provides data solutions using software to process, store, and serve data. Tests data quality and optimizes data availability. Ensures scalability, repeatability, and security of data pipelines. - Builds a deep dive analytical skillset by working with senior Data Engineers on internal and external data projects. - Experience building specified AWS cloud architecture and supporting services and technologies (e.g., Glue, EMR, Redshift, Step Functions, IAM, Cloud Watch, etc.). - Develops Spark data processing applications using Python and Pyspark. Experience with Apache Airflow and iceberg is preferred. - Proficient in SQL development and Tableau Reporting. Experience leveraging/building Splunk dashboards. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Bamboo, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Terraform scripts/CFS. - Provides tool and data support to business users and team members. - Good to have: Experience with test automation and test-driven development practice. Qualifications: - Minimum of three years in data engineering, data analytics, programming, database administration, or data management experience. - Graduate degree (Bachelor's Degree, BCA, or Masters) or equivalent combination of training and experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Highly flexible and accountable with end-to-end ownership.,
