Senior Consultant - AI and Data - AWS

As a Data Modeller Senior at EY GDS Data and Analytics (D&A), you will play a crucial role in understanding and analyzing data to improve business activities. Your main responsibilities will include: - Employing tools and techniques to collect, update, store, and exchange data - Defining and implementing data modeling and design standards, best practices, and methodologies - Designing, reviewing, and maintaining data models - Performing data analysis activities to capture data requirements and visualize them in data models - Managing the lifecycle of data models from requirements to design to implementation to maintenance - Collaborating closely with data engineers to create optimal physical data models - Identifying opportunities to utilize data for enhancing business activities To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Overall experience of 3-7 years - Leading and owning Data Modeling Activities - Evaluating data models based on existing systems - Applying organization and industry standards to the models - Discussing and documenting data modeling requirements with cross-functional teams and business owners - Analyzing requirements and providing data models with source-target mapping - Managing end-to-end data model development and supporting all teams - Working with Business SMEs and Product owners to gather requirements - Capturing data mapping, data transformation, and business rules logic using source-to-target mapping - Translating business needs into data models for long-term solutions - Creating conceptual and logical data models based on business and functional requirements - Understanding ER and dimensional data modeling - Implementing physical data models for various RDBMS and cloud-hosted databases - Proficiency in SQL and analytical skills - Mastery in Visual Paradigm/Erwin data modeling tool - Good communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders and end consumers - Exposure to multiple cloud data platforms Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent job experience - 3+ years of experience in software development - 3+ years of experience architecting distributed systems Join EY to build a better working world by leveraging data and technology to provide trust through assurance and help clients grow, transform, and operate across various domains.,
