Senior Configuration and Data Analyst

As a Senior Configuration and Data Analyst at Dedalus, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Product Management & Engineering departments. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in deploying new systems, ensuring smooth transitions, and accurate configuration setup. - Maintaining and overseeing configuration data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and currency. - Implementing processes to uphold the integrity and consistency of configuration data for operational efficiency and informed decision-making. - Developing and applying control mechanisms to support structured change management and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. - Anticipating and monitoring data quality, identifying discrepancies or issues, and taking corrective actions. - Utilizing data analysis tools and industry best practices to extract insights and enhance data handling processes. - Delivering actionable insights aligned with business goals to support strategic and operational decisions. - Ensuring that configuration and data management practices comply with regulatory and organizational standards. To excel in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: - 5 or more years of experience in configuration management, data analysis, or a similar role within the tech or software development industry. - Proven experience in data quality management, data governance, and change control processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and/or Power BI. - Knowledge of configuration item lifecycle management. - Flexibility to work outside standard business hours and willingness to travel. Desirable qualifications include certifications in ITIL, Configuration Management, Data Analytics, or Project Management, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
