Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer - Azure DevOps ZS's CCoE (Cloud Center of Excellence) Team builds, maintains and helps architect the systems enabling ZS client-facing software solutions. We define and implement best practices to ensure performant, resilient and secure cloud solutions. The CCoE team at ZS is comprised of analytical problem solvers coming from diverse backgrounds while sharing a passion for quality delivery whether our customer is a client or another ZS employee. The team has presence in ZSs Evanston, Illinois and Pune, India offices We are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer (Azure DevOps) position to join our Pune office. Qualified candidates will possess the skills detailed below and relevant work experience. What You'll Do: Create and manage Azure virtual machines, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. Configure and manage storage accounts, including blob storage, queues, and file storage to support various applications and workloads. Knowledge of service principal, RBAC System & Managed Identities. Working on Azure DevOps to setup CICD pipelines, repositories etc. Implement and troubleshoot Azure instance backups to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity. Carry out infrastructure automation using Terraform, streamlining operational tasks and improving efficiency. Utilize Azure PowerShell and ARM templates to create and manage Windows VMs, adhering to best practices for scalability and resilience. Perform regular BAU activities such as increasing space, adding additional drives, and adjusting memory and CPU resources as needed. Configure Azure virtual networks (VNET) and storage accounts to meet specific requirements, including the setup of availability zones, sets, and resource groups. Implement and manage scale sets, containers, and app services to support dynamic workloads and applications. Prepare reports, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document configurations and procedures accurately. Configure and troubleshoot Azure monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance and security issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues, ensuring timely resolution. Analyze, troubleshoot, and tune product performance or deployment issues. Identify automation opportunities and lead automation implementation. Knowledge of capacity planning and systems scaling needs What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure management (VNET, Storage Account, compute, Backup, Azure Stack, AVS) Programming: Python, Terraform Knowledge of Azure services and solutions, including but not limited to virtual machines, storage accounts, backup, and networking. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Azure environments. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform for streamlining deployment and configuration management. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for automation and task automation. Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools for maintaining oversight of infrastructure performance and security. Comfortable working in rotational shifts Ability to quickly learn new platforms, languages, tools, and techniques as needed to meet project requirements. Self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail.
