Senior Cloud Engineer

What you ll do:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraformwith advanced concepts such as reusable modules, remote state management, andworkspace strategies. Drive automation of provisioning and configuration processes to ensurerepeatability and compliance. Cloud Architecture & Modernization (Azure):
Build and manage services on Microsoft Azure, focusing on strong networkingfoundations (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateway,Firewalls, DNS). Support modernization initiatives by deploying and managing App Services,Function Apps, API Management, and other PaaS services. Implement best practices for cost optimization, security, and scalabilityacross Azure resources. Containerization & Orchestration:
Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) andDocker. Implement CI/CD-driven container lifecycle management, scaling, andmonitoring. Troubleshoot containerized workloads and integrate observability tools(logging, metrics, tracing). Automation & Scripting:
Develop scripts using PowerShell for automation of operational tasks andAzure resource management. Leverage Python (advantage) for automation frameworks, tooling, andintegration with APIs/SDKs. CI/CD & DevOps Practices:
Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Python,Node.js, and containerized applications. Manage release workflows with approvals, gated deployments, and automatedrollback strategies. Integrate pipelines with artifact repositories, security scans,infrastructure deployments, and testing frameworks. Collaboration & Governance:
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to defineDevOps best practices and enforce governance policies. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing sessions. Maintain documentation of infrastructure, processes, and runbooks to ensureoperational continuity. Monitoring & Reliability:
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure highavailability and reliability of services. Participate in incident management and root cause analysis to improveresilience and performance.
