Position Overview

Soham Renewable Energy is looking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with 20+ years of experience in civil construction, specifically for  Hydro/ solar  projects. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for civil works, from design review and planning to on-site execution and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil and structural works for hydro projects

oads, drainage, control rooms, substations

• Hydro: dams, canals, intake structures, penstocks, powerhouses, spillways

• Review and approve designs, drawings, BOQs, estimates, and construction methodologies
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure quality and timelines

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls

• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project management teams
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve complex technical challenges
• Lead contractor meetings and provide progress reports to senior management
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and strengthen site execution teams
• Support land development, geotechnical studies, and infrastructure planning for renewable sites

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in civil construction for renewable energy projects
• In-depth knowledge of RCC, pile foundations, structural steel, geotechnical works
• Experience handling large-scale infrastructure and energy projects
• Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple project sites

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Masters degree is an added advantage
