Senior CAD Technician - Piping

As a Piping Designer at our CRC engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the success of our industry discipline. Your main responsibilities will include: - Assisting engineers in designing plans and specifications for heavy industrial, petrochemical, and manufacturing projects using CAD/DAO, 3D, and 2D development tools. - Preparing various types of drawings and isometric drawings using specialized software like Isogen. - Creating lists of equipment, piping, and pipes utilizing software and Excel. - Estimating material volumes required for projects and performing simulations with specialized software. - Supporting team technicians in projects when necessary. - Participating in follow-up meetings with the design team via SKYPE. - Undertaking any other tasks related to project implementation. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Hold a Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent certification. - Have 7 to 10 years of experience in CAD/DAO design and conception, preferably in the industrial field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and 2D software is essential. - Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D (including Isogen) and intelligent P&ID software. Knowledge of Revit would be advantageous. - Being a team player is a key attribute for this role.
