Senior Business Analyst (Investment Banking)

As a Business Analyst at MyRemoteTeam, Inc, you will play a crucial role in supporting the banks Product Control and Finance Control functions within the Investment Banking domain. With over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for determining business requirements, defining functional specifications, and developing approaches to enable process changes or technology solutions. Your expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and business process modeling will be essential in supporting daily P&L and balance sheet finalization processes, product valuation processes, and MI reporting to senior management. Your key accountabilities will include collaborating with Risk, Finance, and Treasury Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes, functional specifications, and product backlogs for new Finance initiatives. You will be required to create detailed GUI mock-ups, analyze UAT issues, and respond to queries from Finance Product Owners/Users. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying functional gaps and providing recommendations for process re-engineering and improvements. To excel in this role, you must possess in-depth knowledge and experience in Finance processes, particularly sub-ledger accounting functions and the impact of accounting data on Finance and Operations processes. Your ability to break down complex problems and provide well-structured analysis, design, and documentation will be crucial. Moreover, your experience in projects adopting different delivery methods such as Waterfall and Agile, along with a good understanding of Agile SDLC concepts, will be highly beneficial. As a seasoned Business Analyst, you will have extensive experience in handling stakeholders across Senior Business levels and the ability to train junior BAs in best practices related to business and data analysis. Your understanding of front-to-back finance and operational process flows, combined with your proficiency in Excel and SQL, will be instrumental in driving the success of the Markets Finance Tech Change team at MyRemoteTeam, Inc.,
