Role Overview: As a Business Analyst specializing in Data Strategy, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting data-driven digital transformation initiatives within the organization. Your expertise in IT business analysis and advanced data analytics will be instrumental in optimizing business processes and outcomes. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will ensure that digital transformation strategies are effectively aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements. - Define KPIs, design dashboards, and extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data in collaboration with data teams. - Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability. - Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and outliers supporting decision-making. - Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. - Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and manipulation. - Translate data insights into actionable recommendations by collaborating with engineering, operations, and business teams. - Support automation of data collection and reporting processes using Python, R, or workflow tools. - Improve data pipeline efficiency and data governance in collaboration with engineering teams. - Present analytical findings and visualizations to stakeholders through clear, structured storytelling. - Stay updated with emerging analytics tools, AI trends, and visualization best practices. - Identify opportunities to apply AI for enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and decision-making. - Participate in enterprise data governance activities to ensure alignment, evolution, and adherence to standards across data sets. - Support data owners and 3rd party data provider partners in executing ongoing data quality processes and cleansing projects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst with a focus on enabling data-driven decision-making. - Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. - Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. - Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and automation. - Exposure to cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google BigQuery is advantageous. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Certifications related to AI/ML are preferred.
