Senior BIM Technician Transport & Infrastructure

As a skilled and experienced BIM professional, you will be responsible for various aspects related to design, modeling, BIM standards, workflow management, technical support, collaboration, and coordination in civil infrastructure projects based in Hong Kong. Your primary duties will include producing detailed design drawings/models, integrating BIM workflows, enforcing BIM/CAD standards, and optimizing software templates to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in leading BIM implementation on projects, troubleshooting technical issues, mentoring junior staff, and creating customized BIM objects to meet project requirements. Additionally, you will be required to follow the BIM Execution Plan, coordinate with external teams, and ensure seamless integration of BIM workflows with project management tools. To excel in this role, you should demonstrate advanced expertise in software such as Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MicroStation. Experience with CDE platforms like BIM360 and Acc is essential. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration is also required. Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a collaborative spirit, and adaptability to evolving technologies are key competencies needed for this position. Qualifications for this role include a diploma or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering (Bachelors preferred), a recognized BIM qualification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BSI BIM Level 2), and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on BIM experience in civil/infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in a senior coordination role.
