Senior BI Analyst, Finance

You are a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with 4-6 years of experience who will be joining our finance BI team. You possess strong expertise in SQL, Data Modeling (Alteryx, or any other data transformation tool), and Power BI. Your passion lies in transforming data into actionable insights. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using SQL, Alteryx, Azure Data Pipeline, and Power BI. You will collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, Alteryx workflows, and functions for data extraction and transformation will be a part of your routine. Additionally, you will create advanced interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data insights. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data integrity and report performance, as well as documenting processes, solutions, and technical details for future reference, will also be crucial aspects of your role. For this position, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field along with 4-6 years of strong experience in BI development, focusing on SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI. Your proficiency in Tableau, writing complex SQL queries, and performance tuning is expected. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Alteryx, Informatica, or equivalent is necessary. Moreover, you should excel in designing and developing dashboards and reports using Power BI. A good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and relational databases is essential. Experience in working with large datasets, optimizing query performance, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Preferred skills for this role include hands-on experience on ADF data pipeline or Microsoft Fabric, knowledge of SAP functionalities, proficiency in Python or other scripting languages, and familiarity with data governance and data quality management.,
