Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Python and Azure SQL

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Python and

Azure SQL to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong

background in building scalable backend solutions, managing databases, and deploying

cloud-based services. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and

data engineers to build and maintain the core backend infrastructure for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

? Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.

? Build and optimize database solutions using Azure SQL, ensuring high performance and

security.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop efficient

solutions that align with business needs.

? Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with front-end applications and external

systems.

? Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure and manage deployment pipelines for

backend services.

? Optimize backend code and database queries to ensure scalability and performance.

? Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure the smooth operation of

backend services.

? Ensure code quality by writing unit tests, conducting code reviews, and following best

practices for software development.

? Work with DevOps to deploy and maintain applications in the Azure cloud environment.

? Monitor and manage application performance, security, and database integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

? 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Python

development.

? Expertise in working with Azure SQL or other relational databases (SQL Server,

PostgreSQL, etc.).

? Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage,

etc.).

? Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with front-end

applications.

? Strong knowledge of ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM) and database schema

design.

? Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

? Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading in Python.

? Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like

Kubernetes is a plus.
