Senior Backend Developer PHP & Node.js

As a Senior Backend Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading our backend development efforts. Your expertise in PHP and Node.js will be instrumental in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices for modern web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Node.js. - Develop secure, scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs. - Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices. - Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers. - Lead architectural decisions and code reviews. - Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications. - Optimize performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness. - Integrate with third-party APIs and legacy systems. - Guide and mentor junior developers on backend standards and practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 8+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in PHP and Node.js. - Deep understanding of PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. - Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS. - Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns. - Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. - Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Solid experience in API design, caching strategies, and data modeling. - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
