Senior Backend Developer - C#, .NET

How you'll Make an Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to serve both internal and external customers. Work with relational and NoSQL databases (eg, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to craft data models, write efficient queries, and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and other team members to define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Fix and resolve issues related to system performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and C# technologies and Implement security measures to safeguard applications and sensitive data and Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of the backend systems.
• Document all aspects of the development process, including system configurations, API endpoints, code functionality, deployment instructions, and solving guidelines.

What You Bring

• bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of professional backend development experience with strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Strong experience in crafting and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (eg, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud services and platforms (preferably Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Shown understanding of security standard methodologies in backend development (eg, encryption, authentication, authorization) and Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Proficient in using frameworks and libraries like Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core, and LINQ. Ability to work in an Agile environment and participate in Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
