As a part of a global technology change and delivery organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on Azure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks - Ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval using Azure Storage and Data Lake - Automating infrastructure and application deployments with Ansible - Writing clean, maintainable code in C# core and SQL - Optimizing code/application for best performance by using state-of-the-art technologies and tools - Collaborating with team members using Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD - Supporting and guiding less senior team members, contributing to team spirit and dynamic growth, and actively participating in wider engineering group- and product-wide activities Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of software development experience in building and shipping production-grade software - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Proficiency in deploying and managing services on Microsoft Azure - Understanding of Azure Storage concepts and best practices - Experience in designing, implementing, and managing data lakes and Databricks on Azure - Proficiency in using Ansible for automation and configuration management, with expertise in YAML - Strong programming skills in C# core, SQL, MVC core/Blazor, JavaScript, HTML, CSS - Proficiency in version control using Git and experience with GitLab for CI/CD pipelines - Strong cross-discipline and cross-group collaboration skills - Passion for delivering high-quality and delightful user experiences - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills - Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies and adopt solutions from within the company or from the Open Source community Additionally, experience in Agile Framework would be a nice-to-have skill.
